Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act
“HITECH Act”
The section of the stimulus bill that applies to Health Information Technology is called the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act, the HITECH Act, (part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA)).
